Diabetic Foot
Case Study
Diabetic nerves are swollen. They get trapped at known areas of anatomical narrowing. Entrapment leads to nerve compression and loss of nerve function. There is loss of sensation in the sole and at times burning in the soles. Nerve decompression at all the sites leads to restoration of sensation in the sole. The nerve decompressions helped in the healing of the wound over the sole. The wound had existed for several years. She is able to feel the ground.
