Blue Finger

The blue finger may be due to certain identifiable causes. Scleroderma is one such condition. The finger tip becomes painful and develop ulcers. In the absence of any relief in pain these patient require surgery. Under microscope, a procedure called digital artery sympathectomy is carried out in the hand with effective relief of pain and healing of ulcers.
